Detoxify Your BodyA detox diet for a period of 2 weeks is the best way to remove all those toxic chemicals and substances from your body that you have accumulated over the years from bad eating habits. I have personally tried one and I have to say the first few days were the hardest few days I have experienced with head aches and a feeling of sickness. These were the withdrawal symptoms I was having form sugar cravings ( just like a drug addict). After the initial few days I started to feel really good the way my body should have always felt. A 14 day detox really help me to feel the best I could and was a challenge but also very rewarding. The idea behind a detox is simple, de-acidify your body by avoiding those acidy foods, and eat lots of alkane foods. A detox program is guaranteed to make you feel better, avoid nasty diseases and give your peace of mind. Here is the detox program I recommend. You must not deviate from it, as any cravings for junk foods results in your eating them will put you back a day or two. The program is simple and easy to do. Detox Program 1) Can eats - All vegetables, All Fruits, Poached eggs, Brown/ basmati rice, mountain/ wheat breads, Legumes, seeds, sprouts, fish. 2) Follow the food combination chart in the food combination section of this website 3) Cannot eat - Dairy Products, white breads, white rices, whites in general, sugar foods (junk food like lollies etc), fast/ take away foods, meats, milk, coffee. 4) sleep 8 hrs + a night 5) 70% of all meals must be water foods such as vegetables, fruits or sprouts. The best way to do this is to include a salad with each meal. 6) Drink minimum of 2 liters of water per day. 7) Exercise 3 times a week for 30 minutes. 8) Think Positive!
This is about as simple as a detox program gets, however there are good reasons behind every aspect of the steps outlined above.
